the following situation? It’s not fictitious – this example
is
drawn from a real company.
In fact it could even be from your
company, this is such a common scenario!
The Risk:You have a company filled with
technologists who are the "experts." You are working on a set of
new products to support this technology. The technologists are
confident they know what the customers need and are plowing
ahead with products to support these needs. The VP of Marketing
thinks this could be a major risk. If these new products fail,
the company could be in serious financial trouble. There is
little room for mistakes - i.e. managing this risk is critical -
but no one has time to dedicate to research. What would YOU do?
INSTRUCTIONS:
Please give some
