SURVEY AND CONTEST

Has a project (or set of projects) you were working on ever been delayed, derailed, or completely defeated due to lack of resources?

Almost everyone has a resource management horror story – we’re asking for yours.

We want to identify the biggest and most common roadblocks and offer them to our panel of leading resource management experts (the faculty of Synchronizing Resources, Capacity, and the Product Pipeline) for solutions.

Here's how it works:

  1. Vote below for the most common bottlenecks you’ve experienced (you may also write in your own in the comments section).

  2. Have a horror story about resource management? Type it in below (100 words or less) and we'll post the best ones on this website. Entrant's names will be witheld for privacy.

  3. Have a question? Type that in the space below and we'll run it by our experts and post their answers as well.

  4. You may remain anonymous or not – however, only those that provide their contact information will be entered to win one of the following PRIZES:

  • (1) Free conference attendance

  • (1) Individual Site license, valued at over $1000, to our online best practices database PDBPR.com

  • (3) Free 1-year subscriptions to our monthly newsletter, Product Development Best Practices Report

  • ALL respondents will receive a copy of the Resource Bottlenecks survey results and faculty answers - complete this form and click the "submit" button below to view results in realtime.

Faculty responses to the biggest and most common problems will be posted on the MRT website following the conference, entrants' names will be withheld from postings.

  1. Contest ends on Friday, January 19, 2001. Winners will be drawn at random and will be notified via email.
