Creating a Dedicated Alliance Management Office
How to form a team to leverage partner relationships

Michael Ransom Live AudioSession featuring
Mike Ransom [BIO]
Alliance Manager,
Eli Lilly & Company

The decision to establish and support a dedicated alliance management function is an important one. The commitment to the effort is more critical than the resources required. A small, dedicated team supported at the highest levels in the organization can make a significant difference in both the partnering perception of the company in the industry, and in the overall success of the alliances the company forms.

Sharing insights and learnings from five years of experience with a dedicated alliance management function, this interactive audiosession will focus on the reasons behind forming a dedicated team, the responsibilities of the team, and the process the team utilizes to create value for each company in the partnership.

By participating in this 90-minute session, you will learn:

  • Why partnerships are an integral part of Lilly's overall business strategy

  • Critical steps for laying the foundation of a dedicated alliance management function

  • How alliance management fits into the product development process

  • What types of infrastructure is necessary to support alliance managers, including tools and training

  • Roles and responsibilities of alliance managers

  • How to conduct ongoing assessments of alliance management projects with web-based surveys

  • Lilly's business results from using these methods since 2000

This session is recommended for anyone involved in product design and development.  Invite your whole team to join you - the fee is the same as long as it's on one phone line, just put it on speakerphone!
